i had brunch at this twee little tea place that is based on the Alice in Wonderland theme. i had a pumpkin scone and a ham and cheese scone, and a pot of Alice's tea which is a blend of vanilla black tea with green tea leaves and rose petal. lovely!

Day 5: Newbie in New Haven
this street was described by mark twain as the most beautiful street in america. guess he didn't go out much huh?
this is my favourite building in yale, building, where a copy of the gutenberg bible is housed. the walls are made of thin marble. sunlight streams in on a sunny day and bathes everything with gold. check out the wall of rare books!
